Since my daughters hair is so thin we did a simple version of the ponytails.I started and made 3 very small ponytails across the front of her head.Then I placed the ribbon behind the elastics.On the 2nd row of elastics I separated only the middle front elastic and pulled it across the ribbon and secured with 2 different ponytails (as shown above). For the remaining 2 other ponytails I pulled them straight across the ribbon and secured with only 1 ponytail (as shown below)...
