Take and comb the hair as if you were making a simple side ponytail then split the hair into 2 and make a very short fish tail braid I pulled about 10 times is all on the braid..  Then secure with an elastic. 

I put a few big ringlets in her ponytail to finish off the style. 

My little one asked me a little while ago for a side ponytail.  With her hair being so short and thin, I wasn't sure how I was going to pull this off.  I have done this style on my oldest all the time but had never thought it would work in my toddlers hair.  But lucky or us it turned out and she loves it.

We started with wet hair then we rolled adding new hair with each roll until it was rolled to the opposite side of her head then we secured it with an elastic.

She likes flowers so we added a flower. 

This is a quick and simple style. 

Start with a small roll.  Rolling her bangs back but leave a couple small amounts of hair around her face (these will be curled in ringlets)

Then roll all the hair starting on the opposite side.  Roll the hair into a side ponytail. 

Secure all the hair on the side with an elastic.

I then put ringlets in the hair around her face and the ponytail along with wrapping the ponytail with her own hair.

This one is very similar to the rolling into a side ponytail.

I started a french braid just above her right ear.

I continued to french braid along the back of her head until it reached the right hair. 

Then I secured it with an elastic. 

I took a small amount of hair and wrapped around the elastic. I secure that small amount of hair with a small bobbie pin. 

Then we added a flower for our accessory. 

This is a fun and easy style that takes about 5 minutes. 

Start with 1 simple roll across the top front of her head.

Make a 2nd roll parallel to the first roll secure both with an elastic

Pull all the remaining hair into a low side ponytail.

From the ponytail make a messy bun.  I always use bobbie pins to control how I want the bun to look.

My daughter requested a flower to add as an accessory.

Now on the left side start a roll just above her ear and roll to the bottom of her neck to meet the other roll. 

I started the french braid at the left top side of her head and braided sideways until it got to the opposite ear.

It is getting really hot around our part of the world.  My older daughter hates to sweat weird I know so we were going to spend the day at the park and here is the up hairstyle we came up with.

I started in the middle of her head and made a triangle part and made a simple braid all the way down to the ends and secured with an elastic. 

Once the center braid is made make 4 more braids 2 on each side of the center braid. 

Below is a picture of the top 3 braids.

Then pull all the hair and braids into a ponytail as shown below.

Then wrap the braids around the ponytail and secure the ends with a bobby pin.
